7/26/21: Free COVID-19 Vaccinations Available at IHSAA State Baseball Tournament in Carroll

The Carroll Hy-Vee, in coordination with Carroll County Public Health, are offering free COVID-19 vaccinations Monday, July 26 and Tuesday, July 27, during the class 1A and 2A Boys State Baseball Tournament, which will be held at Carroll Merchants Park in Carroll.  The single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available for individuals 18 years and older and the 2-dose Pfizer vaccine will be available to those 12 years and older. Recipients of the Pfizer vaccine can visit their local Hy-Vee Pharmacy 21 days after their first dose to receive their second vaccine dose. Individuals who complete their COVID-19 vaccination with Hy-Vee between June 1, 2021-Nov. 1, 2021, can receive a $10 Hy-Vee gift card. All COVID-19 vaccine recipients at the tournament will get a free ice-cold Powerade beverage, courtesy of Hy-Vee and The Coca-Cola Company.  

A specially marked tent will be set up inside the stadium. Appointments are not necessary and health insurance is not required.
