The Carroll County Ambulance is a blend of full time and volunteer staff with facilities in Carroll and three other locations in the county. The Carroll County Ambulance Service provides emergency medical coverage to all 576 square miles of Carroll County. Paramedic staffed ambulances are based in Carroll, Breda, Coon Rapids and Manning, and respond to hundreds of calls per year.
Carroll County is fortunate to have First Responder Teams located throughout the county to offer medical assistance until the ambulance arrives. First Responder Teams are located in:
- Arcadia
- Dedham
- Glidden
- Halbur
- Lanesboro
- Lidderdale
- Ralston
- Templeton
- Willey

Full and Part Time
We are a county owned service that provides county wide 911 service and interfacility transfers. We run Paramedic crews 24/7/365. We have the most up to date equipment and vehicles. Starting immediately, we will be accepting applications for a full-time and ¾ time Paramedic on our service. Qualified applicants include Paramedics or RN’s willing to receive additional training. Base pay for full-time Paramedic is $52962/year with additional pay for CCP endorsement and longevity. Carroll County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
